The resulting mixture was stirred for 40 min at 40 C. After being cooled to room temperature, the reaction mixturewas filtered and the clear filtrate was collected. The solvent from the filtrate was evaporated under vacuum to give a residue. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (CH2Cl2:ethyl acetate 2:1 or pentanes: ethyl acetate 3:2 or 1:1) to givethe desired product as a green crystalline solid.

The reaction mixture was evaporated to dryness at 40C/10 mbar. The residue was stirred in 25 ml of ethyl acetate for 15 min at room temperature. The dark green suspension was filtered and the filtrate concentrated to a total volume of 5 ml. To the green solution, 15 ml of pentane were added and the formed suspension was stirred for 30 min at room temperature and filtered. The filter cake was washed with 40 ml of pentane and dried at 25C/10 mbar over night to afford 0.68 g (80% yield) of the title compound as a green powder.MS: 723.2 (M+).
