The cross-metathesis of vinyltrialkoxy- and vinyltrisiloxysilanes as well as divinyltetra-ethoxydisiloxane with various allyl alkyl ethers catalyzed by Cl2(PCy3)2Ru(=CHPh) (I) is presented.
